GOP Texas State Senator Larry Taylor is quitting. He didn’t want to face a challenge from a Texas House Freedom Caucus member in the upcoming GOP primary. What a quitter. Laziness. I guess it is ok to be part of a wacky far right GOP until it bites you in the arse.
That is five state senators announcing their retirement or seeking another office.
There is a movement among GOP Texas legislators for a special session to ban vaccine mandates. Did I say wacky far right GOP? I should add dangerous.
We are still in the middle of a pandemic.
Here in Harris County, the featured Democratic Party primary races are for County Commissioner Precinct 4 and House District 147. Those are it for now.
