Donald Trump lost the popular vote by seven million votes.  He started an insurrection.  He was impeached twice. This morning his company’s CFO was indicted. He lost both houses of congress under his watch.   

Yesterday a bunch of Texas GOP statewide elected officials and legislators headed to the border to kiss his ring.  So did a bunch of members of congress from across the country.  Trump is their pied piper.  How else can you explain this?  How else can you explain fawning over one of the most corrupt individuals ever? That’s all you need to know about the GOP. Amazing. 

Commentary has said it before. TxDOT is the worse state agency in Texas. It is not even close.  Thank goodness we have the cavalry, err federal government on our side on the I-45 project.

“Basically, let’s take this project and put it back out for public comment … then we will see where we go from there,” (TxDOT) Commission Chairman J. Bruce Bugg said.

TxDOT isn’t giving up trying to ruin our way of life here around my neighborhood. We need to keep fighting these aresholes. 

The Houston Firefighters got a pay raise yesterday from the H-Town city council and the firefighters thanked congress. That’s all you need to know about this mess. 

My “Wizard of Oz” wall calendar for July has a picture of the Tin Man with the quote “No Heart. All Hollow.” My Beatles wall calendar has a photo of the four from 1965. 

We won eleven in a row and now we have lost four in a row. We are back on the road.
