Dangerous

“If you take the blue states out.”

That is as wacked as you can get. A piece of sh_t thing to say.  Sorry.  You can’t defend this.

Nor the following from Politico:

Attorney General William Barr argued Wednesday that coronavirus-related lockdown orders were surpassed only by slavery as the “greatest intrusion on civil liberties” in the nation’s history.

The remarks from the attorney general came during an event hosted by Hillsdale College where Barr delivered a speech defending his intervention in Justice Department cases and comparing career prosecutors to preschoolers.

“Other than slavery, which was a different kind of restraint, this is the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history,” Barr said during a question-and-answer session following his remarks.

I am sorry.  Being cooped up in my place with a flat screen, plenty of Saint Arnold and ice cream, ain’t slavery.

I saw this tweet about a story in the Washington Post:

WP: In April, HHS planned to send a pack of five reusable masks to every residential US address. They even got USPS to draft a news release. Then the White House canceled the plan, fearing that it would cause a panic. How many people might still be alive?

Dangerous. Dangerous. Lives were lost.

These guys are downright dangerous.

47 days.  Make sure all your friends and family have a plan to vote.

Here is from a story on the front page of today’s Chron:

Mayor Sylvester Turner appears unlikely to renegotiate a contract with Houston police officers, a setback to advocates who saw negotiations as a means to reform the Houston Police Department and make bargaining meetings available for public viewing.

I don’t see this as a setback. For those that are at the forefront of pushing for reform, just keep up the pressure. Good luck.

Yesterday, on the 16th of September, for lunch I made fajitas and guac and had them with Kroger store made flour tortillas and Siete Lime chips.  Nice.

I got my flu shot yesterday.

I hope the U.S. Open turns out to be interesting.  I will have it on.

I don’t want to say anything about last night’s game.

Tonight’s game starts at 6 pm.
