Two Days Before

Here we are two days before the City of H-Town runoffs. After Saturday, the focus will be on the party primaries. Well actually, some of us will be focused on the #TXHD148SpecialRunoffElection that will be held on January 28, 2020. Commentary really hasn’t had time to focus or think about who I will support for U.S. Senator from Texas or president.

It is pretty good. Donald Trump has decided to attack the 16-year old who Time Magazine named person of the year. I am sure Trump supporters feel good about that.

We won’t hear any spin on this, I’m betting.

The MLB Commissioner says they are conducting a very thorough investigation into the cheating allegations against the Astros. I don’t have a good feeling about where this thing is going.

For those of you who are bent out of shape because we lost Gerrit Cole to the Yankees, the Yankees visit The Yard May 15-17, a weekend series.

Chron sports columnist Jerome Solomon says we should have signed Cole. I don’t think Jerome pays for his tickets to Astros games.

Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad” is one of the most favorite Christmas tunes. Everyone knows the words and sings along. You know when it was first released? November of 1970.

The tune is older than a few folks who are still of the City of H-Town runoff ballot.
