Filing Surprises

Commentary has said it before. We don’t have a choice. The U.S. House has to impeach Donald Trump. If we don’t, we are saying we are Ok with him abusing his power and obstructing justice. If the GOP wants to let him off the hook and say his actions aren’t abusing his power and obstructing justice, go on ahead. In the end, history will judge you and it will not be a good judgement. In the Harris County Democratic Party Primary, H-Town Council Member Jerry Davis filing for State Representative against incumbent Harold Dutton, and;

In the Harris County Republican Party Primary, longtime Harris County Commissioner Steve Radack not filing for reelection.

Penny Shaw, who also filed a couple of weeks or so go and Garcia both ran this past November in the special election. Garcia finished in third place and Shaw in sixth place. Reyes-Revilla ran this past November for H-Town City Council, District H and finished in third place.

Also, W.R. “Bill” Morris filed in the Democratic Party Primary for Harris County Department of Education, Place 7.

“The Twelve Days of Christmas” tune has been recorded by Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Burl Ives and the Ray Conniff Singers among others. Commentary’s favorite is by John Denver and the Muppets. Now you know.
