After 50 games, we are 33-17. In our 100 or more win seasons of 1998, 2017 and 2018, what was our record after 50 games?

It looks like Commentary is going to be wrong. It looks like the Battleship Texas will be moved and most likely to Galveston. Supposedly more folks will visit the ship in Galveston. It apparently has no historical significance to the San Jacinto Battlegrounds we were told. I don’t know about that. They both were involved in battles. It is a money thing. It loses money at its current location and it will pay for itself in Galveston. Oh, well.

When the courts say City of H-Town elections matter, from the Chron today:

The Texas 1st Court of Appeals has struck down an appeal from a Houston businessman who contested the city’s 2017 pension bond referendum, appearing to end the legal challenge that began almost a year and a half ago.

Mayor Sylvester Turner’s office had denied former housing director James Noteware’s allegation that the mayor misled voters into approving the $1 billion bond sale with a “materially misleading ballot description.”

It looks like beer-to-go at craft breweries is going to happen. I guess that is a good thing.

In 1998, after 50 games, the Astros were 31-19, in 2017, 34-16, and in 2018, 32-18 of course.

Last night we hit into a triple play and the White Socks had a grand salami against us. Not a good night.
