How many different teams have we played in the MLB playoffs?

Commentary said this on Friday:

GOP Sen. Jeff Flake just announced he is voting for Judge Kavanaugh. Did anyone actually think this fella would vote against?  Commentary doesn’t know anyone who respects this fella. He is all talk for sure.

I may have to change my mind on this if they do a real investigation.

On this Judge Kavanaugh thing, I hope you checked out Chron Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Lisa Falkenberg’s outstanding take yesterday. She nailed it.

Yesterday, Commentary watched some of the news coverage. GOP Senators are blaming Sen. Diane Feinstein for this mess. Got it?

So, if Judge Kavanaugh is not confirmed, the GOP wants the blame to land on Sen. Feinstein. Got it? Makes sense to me.

From Jenny Dial Creech’s column in the Chron Sports Section yesterday:

When the Astros traded for Roberto Osuna, general manager Jeff Luhnow said the move could encourage us to have important dialogue and conversation about domestic violence.

Since then, Luhnow and Osuna haven’t discussed domestic violence openly. (The Astros Foundation has engaged in private meetings with several women’s groups.) Osuna said he won’t answer further questions about his case.

Here is the entire column: https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/columnists/dialcreech/article/I-don-t-want-him-to-ruin-the-Astros-for-me-13267284.php.

My position has not changed on this.

In our MLB playoff history, we have faced the Phillies, Dodgers, Mets, The ATL, Padres, San Luis, White Sox, Yankees, Royals, and Red Sox – that’s 10 of course.

We will add Cleveland to the list on Friday.

Is there a way we can ask Cleveland to not bring the offensive Chief Wahoo with them?

We get extra baseball today with two playoff games.

Maybe after the games this afternoon, MLB will give us a schedule for Friday’s game. I am thinking an afternoon start.
