The GOP is against same sex marriage. So how come they are fighting a gay couple getting a divorce – huh?

I wonder if former Governor Palin is going to ask David Letterman if he knocked up any of his female employees.

Emily’s List endorsed Controller Annise Parker yesterday. I wonder if Emily will follow her cousin Annie and do a drive by on Gene Locke. I wonder when Craig’s List will endorse one of the fellas that are running.

I don’t know about H-Town’s Fire and Police Departments. Some fella in our hood has already torched a dozen structures.  You have to wonder what kind of priority they are putting on this.

From the Office of One of My Best Friends:

“State Representative Carol Alvarado proudly accepted the Patient Care Champion Award from the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) Tuesday night at their monthly meeting.  Representative Alvarado championed various health related issues during the 81st Legislative Session, including, banning trans fat oils in restaurants, establishing ‘menu labeling’ of nutritional facts in restaurants, assisting small businesses in complaints against double-digit increases in health care premiums, and increasing the physical activity requirements for Texas students by expanding it to pre-kindergarten.

“President of HCMS, Lewis E. Foxhall, M.D., praised Representative Alvarado for her ‘sincere dedication to the needs and concerns of the patients and physicians of Texas, we would like to express our warm gratitude and appreciation.’  The Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) is the largest county medical society in the United States, with a membership of more than 10,000 physicians and medical students.  Established in 1903, it is the professional organization for physicians in Harris County.”

J.R. Towles’ two dingers the other night was the first time a ‘Stros catcher had hit two dingers in a game since Brad Ausmus in 2003.

Miggy now has 196 hits.

When Milo steps up to the microphone today at Citi Field, it will be the 57th stadium he has called a game from – cool.

We ended up going 6-2 against last year’s World Serious Champs as we wrap the season this weekend in New York City!
