So why do you just delete the comments that are not favorable to you. It's your company, right.

Nobody can come away from a substantive conversation with Anna Eastman and not be impressed – period.

Is this one that:
Folks need to step away from their laptops, take a few deep breaths, and take a walk around the block. Afterwards, close your eyes and click your heels, and repeat after me – “not everything in cyperspace is true, not everything in cyperspace is true, not everything in cyberspace is true.”

and why aren't you saying she is your client here?

Mr. Campos,
To address the claim of the "Gene Locke Latino Lunch having three times as more Latinos in attendance than the Annise Parker Latino Breakfast":
I was not present at the Gene Locke lunch, but for your claim to be accurate, there would have had to have been nearly 350 latinos at his event. (I was at the Annise Parker breakfast.)
I spoke with an employee at El Jardin today and was informed that their maximum building occupancy is around 160 people (this would surely include staff). I wanted to point this out to you in order to make sure that the numbers are reflective of actual attendance and not grossly exaggerated.

Your slant on this is way off. Gene Locke allegedly handing out croissants at the press conference when Peter Brown, the 3rd place candidate for Mayor, endorsed Annise Parker, the first place candidate was just stupid and pathetic.

I was at the press conference. Present and looking completely annoyed, and out of place, were 3 or 4 young folks wearing Locke t-shirts while talking on their cell phones. If they had croissants they didn't offer me one. I never saw any and I am not one to pass up free food.

These kids looked completely humilated to be forced to go stand there. How tacky! I don't even get the croissant analogy anyway? What is it supposed to mean?

You seem to suggest that all of this was some slam on the overwhelming news of the day, which was that Peter endorsed Annise. Then you throw a shout out to Sue Schechter. Do you not know that Ambassador Arthur and Mrs. Schechter had a huge fundraiser for Annise Parker and that they are supporters of hers?

Why I am even posting on here I have no idea. It probably makes about as much sense as trying to explain the political reality of this mayoral race to my desk. The numbers speak volumes, and they all show that Annise Parker will be our next mayor-Thank goodness. Croissants, or no croissants.

Gene Locke has a choice. He can accept 2nd place gracefully, professionally and with dignity. Or he can start a vicious negative ad campaign for which he will always be remembered for being a Hotze and enemy of the people of Houston. I really can't imagine him selling his soul to them. Wasn't $650 an hour for his lobbying enough?

That was a real stupid stunt by Team Locke. They are behind in the polls, behind in the voting analysis, and all they can do is play game? I dont think so.

I'm curious, Marc. Whom do you think has not disclosed the candidate they support for Mayor? I said before Election Day that I voted for Annise Parker. Greg Wythe, Martha Griffin, John Cobarruvias, Stace Medellin, Erik Vidor, Neil Aquino, all of them have said they voted for (or in Martha's case, are supporting) Annise Parker. Sandra Puente is very up front about her support of Gene Locke. I don't know if Perry Dorrell has explicitly said who he supports, but he's been perfectly clear about his dislike of Gene Locke and Peter Brown, so I don't think it's too hard to guess. The only bloggers whose preferred candidate is unknown to me are David Ortez, and yourself. Would you care to disclose the candidate that is getting your vote?

[...] Campos observed the other day that he’d hardly received any campaign mailers so far this year. That’s largely been true for me as well – before this week, I’d gotten the Peter Brown pieces, an Anna Eastman mailer, and maybe one or two others that aren’t sticking in my mind. But since Thursday, things have picked up considerably. Over the last three days, I have received: [...]

[...] Campos teased the news earlier today, and now the story is up: Peter Brown leads in a new Zogby poll of the Mayor’s race. According to the poll, Brown leads the field with 23.8 percent of the vote, followed by Parker with 19 percent, Locke with 13.1 percent, and Harris County Board of Education Trustee Roy Morales with 6.7 percent.
Sounds like the Parker campaign is desperate and will attack anything that moves. I have witnessed how vicious Parker has turned in the past couple of months, and quite frankly it turned me off. My eye is now set on Peter Brown and Gene.
