There is a story in the Chron today about the fallout from Massachusetts and how it impacts Texas. Check it out. Commentary is not going to pay attention to any positive spin Lone Star State Dem electeds, Dem party leaders, Dem candidates, or Dem operatives try to put out because it is nothing but BS. Dems got their arses handed to them Tuesday night while the whole world was watching. The only good thing Dems can say is that it is a good thing that November 2, 2010 is not next week. We have us nine months to turn things around so let’s hope that The President provides the leadership we need.
Mr. Brown you’ve got a lovely daughter. That Massachusetts Brown fella in his victory speech Tuesday night had his two daughters standing by him and he said that one of them was “available.” I wonder if Tiger gave her a call.
Former Governor Palin is coming in to campaign for Guv Dude while 41 is endorsing Hutch. I’m thinking the Palin endorsement has more value.
Who said this? “Bob Gibson is the luckiest pitcher I ever saw. He always pitches when the other team doesn’t score any runs.”
John Edward – through a spokesperson – finally got around to handing out cigars today. He couldn’t even do it himself.
San Luis catcher Tim McCarver of course was behind the plate for Gibson in three different World Seriouses.
One of the giveaways at The Yard this season is a hidden book safe – huh! I’ve heard of the hidden ball trick but not the hidden book safe.
